How To Make A Boom Pole For £15 - Low-Budget Filmmaking (UK)

I found this video that I hope you will find really useful, video equipment is especially expensive, so anything that will save you money has to be good. This video was created by rickvanman and the link to his youtube channel is below.

Boom poles cost a fortune! This is a simple way to build one yourself and save a ton of cash!

The length of the bolt I used was 44mm

PLEASE NOTE: I no longer have any spare 3/8-16 bolts, and I'm no longer sure where you can purchase them. I found mine on eBay by locating a nut and bolt shop and then emailing them with my requirements. I don't remember the name of the shop.

Thanks to the awesome indymogul for the original idea, this is my UK adapted version
