I am a Community Reporter from Beswick, Manchester, UK, which is where I also live, I became involved with reporting as early as 2005, my first event was Eastlands Homes Fun and Feedback Day. I mainly cover Events & Festivals but now I am doing more and more wildlife, I think this is where I will be heading and perhaps do a bit less reporting, I am finding I don't enjoy it as much, especially with some of the hassles that crop up regarding photography at certain events.

Photography and Videography are my main area's of interest. I consider myself more of an hobbyist Photographer, while I am eager to learn new techniques and strive to get the best photos that I can, I want to enjoy taking photos without being put under the pressures of professionals. The cameras that I use are not expensive and can be bought cheaply, one of my aims is to show people what can be achieved using the most basic of equipment. One of my other websites is called On My Travels, it is about some of the places I visit on my travels, mainly around Greater Manchester. It is also an outlet for my photos of wildlife and places.

I am a volunteer with Eastlands Homes, I sit on many in-house panels some of which involves decision making, can be very demanding at times, but still enjoyable. This is very much ongoing and something I have to fit in with my Community Reporting and Photography, although reporting will be gradually phased out and do more wildlife.

My health is not at it's best and has worsened, which is why reporting being the more demanding is being phased out, but I intend on doing a few events for a while longer (usually takes me a few days/week to recover from them).
